I am a recent graduate of Seton Hill University, where I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, along with minors in Entrepreneurial Studies and Art History.
Throughout my life, I have watched technology shrink from massive machines to tiny screens that fit on our wrists. Computers have advanced the field of graphic design in an unbelievable way. So much so, that our world is often overcrowded by advertisements and graphics thrown in our faces almost constantly.
In a society where the average attention span is eight seconds, I feel that we as designers have a unique challenge of communicating our message as quickly as we can. Because of this, I approach design with the intention of communicating my message simply and clearly. I build on this to create meaningful and substantial visuals.
Graphic design has given me a voice which I might not otherwise have found. I plan to continue using this voice throughout my life, regardless of where my career takes me.
In addition to being a lifelong student of design, I am an avid traveler, a cat mom, a foodie, a bookworm, a lover of alternative rock music, and a young woman passionate about creating memorable experiences.
